a million dollar reward is being offered to help track down a former police officer and suspected murderer. good evening, i'm ama daetz. they accused of christopher dorner of being a domestic terrorist and the british paper is reporting drones are being used to search for him. >> a tip on the possible sighting a former los angeles officer christopher dorner led them to evacuate but there is no sign of the suspected killer. police are banning together to offer an incentive. >> collectively this group is

posting a reward of one million dollars that will lead to his capture. >> they say the reward is high because the stakes are so high. >> every day that dorner is loose, the likelihood of an attack on either uniformed police officer or a family after police officer is likely. >> police suspect the 33-year-old fugitive in a week long rein have terror in a manifesto he made claims against the lapd says it's corrupt and vowed war against colleagues and their families. police chief is reopening the 2007 case that resulted him in getting firing but not to appease dorner. >> is there is anything to what he says we'll deal with it in a public way. >> they found camping gear in the burned out pickup truck in

the town of big bear. the trail went cold. he is a skilled marksman and familiar with law enforcement tactics and techniques. the 34-year-old police officer killed in in thursday's shooting will be buried on wednesday. >> ama: we have develops news out of san francisco. two people are in custody after a police chase led in a crash. they spotted a stolen car around 7:40 this evening. the driver took off that led police in the chase and the driver crashed at second and howard streets. two people took off running but police grabbed them. two people are suspected to survive after their car plummeted 150 feet down a ravine. they were driving near mount hamilton road. one person was able to crawl out of the car. the other person had significant injuries and had to be freed by fire crews. both people were taken to the hospital and no word on what

caused that crash. the northeast is beginning to recover from a record setting storm that paralyzed several states this weekend. the snowstorm was spawned by two converging weather systems and blamed for 11 deaths and three states and canada. more than 250,000 homes and businesses remain without power. take a look. new york long island expressway was closed for snow removal. it doubled up to 40 inches of snow. >> as you can see, snow, nobody is getting out. it's horrible. when you do shovel your driveway the plows come and they put it back on the driveway. >> they report some weather delays from flights from chicago and minneapolis. >> a tornado has caused significant damage in smps including the campus of southern mississippi. they say the damage is

significant. at least three people were injured. assess and rescue teams are going through the debris to make sure people are safe. >> texas governor rick perry was in the bay area hunting for california business. he wants to lure companies to his own state. >> this is a portion of the radio ad that texas governor rick perry bought time for in california. >> building a business is tough but building a business in california is next to impossible. i have a message to california businesses, come check out texas. >> the ad is to attract companies to texas. this is not his first trip to this state. he says labor costs are cheaper and business regulations are more lax. a professor says the governor has a point. >> there is a opportunity, with big increases in taxes and cutbacks on services, i think the time is now.
